If terrorism is uncomfortable airline seats, thank goodness the Air Force is here for us

From today’s Truthout–

http://www.truthout.org/article/terrorism-funds-may-let-brass-fly-style

Short version–the Air Force has spent millions of dollars, taken largely out of its counter-terrorism funding, to build “capsules” for their brass to fly more comfortably on transport planes.

Great. The administration warns of terrorists behind every tree but refuses to fund first-responders or port security adequately. At the same time, the military is spending tens of millions of dollars to make sure its officers don’t get too uncomfortable when they fly.

Any military member, no matter how high ranking, ought to be infuriated by this story.

Appalling. Nothing but appalling.

    Seth,

Google “Boeing C-40C” and then tell Obama to get out and walk home.

Voice of Reason: If you’ve looked anywhere else on the blog, you’ll already know I’m not a big Obama fan. Not sure why you feel the need to attack him in the context of a post about something else. You don’t need to convince me that he’s not as much an agent of change as he wants us to think he is.
